From Washington, D.C. & Virginia

• Take 495 to 270 North
• Take Exit 8 Shady Grove Road West
Get in the left lane of the exit ramp
• At the light, turn left onto Shady Grove Rd (West),
• Proceed approximately 0.4 miles to Key West Ave.
• Turn right at Key West Ave.
• At first light, turn left onto Medical Center Dr.
• On the righthand side is the entrance to JHU, #9601 Medical Center Drive

From Frederick, MD & points North

• Take 70 to 270 South
• Take Exit 8 Shady Grove Road West
Once on the exit ramp, stay in the right lane of the exit ramp and bear right following the signs to Omega Dr.
• At the stop sign, turn left onto Omega Drive and follow through the first traffic light (Key West Avenue)
• Cross Key West Avenue. The name of the road you are on changes to Medical Center Drive.
•On the righthand side is the entrance to JHU, #9601 Medical Center Drive

Directions to Design Desk Computer Lab

We are located in the JHU Gilchrest building in Rockville (known also as the Gaithersburg area), Montgomery County, Maryland. So look for the signs on the 270 Interstate that say JHU and follow those to our location. We are NOT affiliated or part of JHU (Johns Hopkins University). The street address is 9601 Medical Center Drive, Rockville, Maryland.

You will turn into JHU main entrance. Park in either the right or left parking lot. There are three adjacent buildings. Class is in the main center building called Gilchrest building. Design Desk is in room 201, on the second floor.
