Adobe Photoshop
Workshops are taught
using CC
CS6 and CS5 can be requested

Design Desk two-day workshop in Adobe Photoshop CC is offered once a month, and the two days must be taken consecutively. Each of three Photoshop workshops, Web Graphics, Photography run at least once a month. All Adobe Photoshop workshops are taught using CC. You can request training using CS6 or CS5. Design Desk uses only Adobe certified instructors.

There are two different areas of interest for Adobe Photoshop:

Adobe Photoshop for Web Graphics deals with learning how to create and properly optimize images for the web. Adobe Photoshop for Photography allows you to work with your camera during the workshop and deals with specific retouching techniques. For more details on a specifc area of interest click on name of workshop. There is some overlapping of techniques that are taught.

The student class book for some of the basic techniques is Adobe Photoshop CC Classroom in a Book by Adobe Press. Design Desk supplements with its own curriculum for specific and advanced techniques.

It is essential that all students have basic computer skills. Since the class size is a maximum of five students, your specific and general interest, and computer skills will be discussed prior to placement in a class.

Make sure to register two weeks prior to any workshop or at least contact us so that we can pencil you in for the dates you want. Registrations received less than two weeks prior to a workshop cannot be guaranteed a space.
